Clinical Dilemmas are a series of clinical reasoning case studies that emphasize the “art” of nursing. Each study has an
emphasis that integrates aspects of caring, spiritual care, nurse engagement/presence, and ethical decision making and its

What’s Coming in 2018!
As a member of Think Like a Nurse, you no longer have to pay extra for additional case studies. Two
case studies will be included each month and based on the survey results that I obtained in February,
I will be developing the most requested topics of clinical reasoning case studies including:

• Rapid Response. Short case studies that contextualize most common complications and change of status so
students are better prepared to priority set in a crisis!
• Priority Setting Activities. Unique, practical exercise with a series of multiple patients in the ED and
med/surg floor. Based on recognizing relevant clinical data, who is the PRIORITY patient and who should the
nurse see first? This is an NCLEX emphasis and also needed for practice!
• Skill Based Case Studies. You teach the skills, I have a salient clinical scenario that contextualizes the nurse
