Portions: 1 Diet types: CKD non-dialysis, dialysis, diabetes Serving size: 1 bowl Nutrients per serving: Calories: 225, Protein: 17 g, Carbohydrates: 28 g, INGREDIENTS Fat: 5 g, Cholesterol: 3 mg, Sodium: 118 mg, Potassium: 370 mg, 1 cup frozen blueberries Phosphorus: 174 mg, Calcium: 240 mg, Fiber: 7.8 g Food choices: 1 milk, 2 tbsp whey protein powder 1 meat, 2 low-potassium fruit Carbohydrate choices: 2 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, plain, nonfat PREPARATION 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla 1. Portions: 9 Diet types: CKD non-dialysis, dialysis, diabetes Serving size: 3-inch square Nutrients per serving: Calories: 212, Protein: 11 g, Carbohydrates: 15 g, INGREDIENTS Fat: 12 g, Cholesterol: 165 mg, Sodium: 218 mg, Potassium: 347 mg, 7 slices sourdough bread, Phosphorus: 207 mg, Calcium: 151 mg, Fiber: 2 g Food choices: 1 meat, 1/2-inch thick 1/2 medium-potassium vegetable, 1 starch, 1 fat Carbohydrate choices: 1 1 cup onion PREPARATION 1 cup raw mushrooms 1. Cut bread into cubes. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 225° F for 1 cup red bell peppers 15 minutes. Turn cubes over and continue baking 15 minutes or until 1 tbsp unsalted margarine dry and crisp. 15 fresh spinach leaves 2. Dice onion, mushrooms and bell peppers. 7 large eggs 3. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. 11.
