Patient Advisory Potassium Restricted Diet Potassium is found in most foods. If you have a medical condition that cause high blood level of potassium, it is important to limit potassium rich foods in your diet. A high blood level of potassium can lead to muscle weakness and irregular heartbeat. Limiting dietary potassium will help keep your blood potassium levels within normal. Vegetables: Total 2 servings per day.
