Daily short walks around campus: Lunch time or 5 pm. Even more welcome than a class would be a chance to work with a personal trainer for a sustained period of time. This benefit is available to faculty and staff at IC, probably because they are training students to pursue careers using such skills. The one-on-one training helps a (senior) participant to feel that their own level of readiness, particular body needs, and capacities will guide training. I tried the personal trainer option at Cornell years ago but it seemed primarily just an introduction to the machines.
